I have a couple of green velvet armchairs that every now and then I think about having recovered. Then I always change my mind as I have a renewed appreciation of the virtues of green! And these pics are great examples - green and grey is such a sophisticated combination. Green walls with grey upholstery (top) and grey walls with green upholstery (middle pic) looks fabulous. And I love the combination of green, dark timbers, a hint of nickel and some subtle grey lampshades (above).
Today Iāve been hunting for rugs for two different clients, looking at lanterns for above a kitchen island and putting together fabrics for cushions. Everywhere I go Iāve been checking out the gorgeous Christmas window displays that are appearing in homeware shops - Iām such a Christmas person and seeing windows full of twinkling lights and interesting wreaths and new cushions always gets me so excited! Iām collecting lots of beautiful ribbons and papers for all my wrapping. I think the packaging is so important donāt you?
Have a great Tuesday! xx
