I just had to share as well as record for my own inspiration some pictures from Vicki Archer’s gorgeous French garden, from her blog French Essence. It just goes to show that a garden needn’t be filled with flowers or colour to be beautiful. And aren’t her front doors (actually, I don’t know that these are her front doors, for all I know she has many beautiful doors at her chateau!) divine?

What a stunning garden, love just green on green, who needs flowers?
I love the French Essence garden and the idea of keeping to minimal colours. That is what I am striving for and I just love the green and white. With such a beautiful house a fussy colourful garden would be too much. I must get that book. Thank you for the beautiful pictures.
