I am so over red and gold for Christmas decorating this year. Last year I was keen on pale pinks and greens, but this year I am feeling so inspired by the beautiful Christmas decorating in the home of Genia Gilchrist, as featured in Southern Living.
She has stuck to using natural greens, white, vintage architectural pieces, mercury glass, hints of gold and my favourite or favourite colours, grey.
Doesn’t she make rustic look good? I particularly love the old window frame used on the table top as a backdrop for her display and the wrought iron piece used as a firegrill. Also the white petticoat used as a tree skirt- what a great idea!
