A few amazing bathrooms

Posted in bathrooms

We’re a bit rushed here this morning, making cupcakes and preparing a picnic to take to a National Park for the day. (I feel a little guilty thinking of all the emails waiting in my inbox for me, so if you’re waiting to hear from me, I promise I’ll get back to you when the kids are back at school on Monday!) But I quickly wanted to share these gorgeous bathrooms that I’ve been dreaming about. All so different in style, and yet I’d love them all! The shower with the sun streaming in in particular is something I dream of.

Have a great day xx

My pink/turquoise/aqua room!

Isn’t this bathroom amazing? Every detail is gorgeous, from the mirrored sink cabinet, to the grey granite top, stone sink, sconces and venetian mirror above. But the real showstopper, of course, is the pink and aqua pattern on the walls! Not sure if it’s a painted finish or a wallpaper, but I love the colours. It reminds me of this Kate Spade ad that I’ve had saved for awhile for colour inspiration - I also love the vintage feel of it:

And while I’m in the mood for it, why not add in a turquoise rug;

madeline weinrib rug

and some pink trim;

greek key trims - pink

and maybe even a rustic-style co-ordinating lamp?

And, because a room is never complete without books and artwork, an abstract painting to suit my scheme! xx

Red and black chinoiserie bathroom

I mentioned yesterday that I am really digging chinoiserie in all forms at the moment. So this bathroom does it for me big time! I love that it’s a little unonventional in style and also the shape: this little nook housing the sink is the perfect place to display a statement wallpaper. And of course I’m loving the faux-bamboo pagoda mirror!
