Fun dayI’m a little rushed this morning but I always have time for my favourites from Windsor Smith! For me her work strikes the perfect balance between classic, colourful and eclectic. This is in my ‘dream kitchen’ file: plenty of stylish storage, a dose of chinoiserie and a pop of colour against classic black-and-white. I also love that the beautiful floors are not fussied up with a rug.
I’m a sucker for stylish bookshelves and these are among my favourites. There are lots of classic elements that appeal to me here: the dark wood floors, marble steps to the right, sisal rug, bookshelves over the doorway and a glimpse through to another couple of (gorgeous) rooms. Add some classic-style furniture, some colour-coded books, chinese blue-and-white and a hint of ikat and I’m in heaven!

I love that kitchen - especially that pinky-red lantern fixture! And I’m obsessed with books-as-decor and grouping books by color, so that library is a dream room to me. Have a great weekend!
