I have to apologise for my lack of postings lately! We’ve had some internet connection issues that highlight my total inadequacy when it comes to all things technical - turns out that if you switch everything off, wait 5 minutes, then switch it all back on again, magic happens!
Anyway now that I’m back, I’m thinking fabric. There’s one fabric (actually, there are many fabrics but this one stands out) that I’ve admired for a long time, that I’ve always wanted an excuse to use but never had the right project - until now! I speak of La Fiorentina by David Hicks:
I love all the colourways - the wine/magenta is probably the most used, but I’m using the ivory/bark for an exciting project that’s in the works. It looks amazing paired with bright colour. The lucky recipients? These bamboo wing chairs I bought for a client on ebay. They’ll be re-painted and recovered. I can’t wait to show you the results!
