   Hi Naomi, We talked by email last year & your blogs constantly make us smile at Room Service Interiors (www.roomserviceinteriors.co.nz) as you are very much on the same wave length design-wise as we are
   Huka Lodge is an amazing and very romantic place to stay. The designer Virginia Fischer is very clever in how she introduces texture & colour. Her interiors are always traditional but with that little modern twist and of course always luxurious. She has done a number of other lodges in NZ - Wharekauhau in the Wairarapa and Eichhardts in Queenstown. Truly an inspirational designer.
   Keep on blogging, we love it & you too provide us with daily inspiration.

     Hi Angela, great to hear from you!
     I don’t know much about Virginia’s work but I’ll have to take a look at these other lodges - I just love this style, essentially classic and traditional but not overly matchy-matchy. You New Zealanders are truly lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful landscapes and (in my opinion) the perfect climate - it suits these interiors so perfectly! Thanks for the positive encouragement too Naomi x
