It always feels good to support Australian businesses and to be able to ‘buy local’. Especially when the product is something beautiful and unique. I have been drooling over the block-printed textiles from The Brown Trading Co. today, and the colours and patterns are truly gorgeous. I’m sure it won’t be hard to find a use for some of their lovely cushions, either in my home or in a client’s! Their prints come in quilts, cushions, tea towels, tablecloths and scarves.
Whilst perusing their website I came across this project on the Brown Trading Co. blog. A reader had bought pink and orange tablecloths and used them to cover her bedroom wardrobe, trimming the edges with nail heads. What a great idea!
