My name is Naomi and I have a passion for all things decorating, home design, real estate, architecture and gardens. I am a wife, mother, former lawyer and journalism graduate-turned-interior decorator. My decorating business, Naomi Freier Interiors, is based in Melbourne Australia. Pink with a hint of gilt

Recognise this room? It’s Candace Bushnell’s house in ‘So Chic’, and it was possibly my favourite pic in the book. I love the ice blue walls as a backdrop for all the pink – pink leather pouffe, coral pink rug, the pink spines of (I’m guessing) her books. And of course, who wouldn’t love that gilded pink velvet chaise? Absolutely gorgeous!
