Some pops of colour

Would you be brave enough to paint a room in bright aqua? Doesn’t it look great as a backdrop for lime green and purple?

Love the greeny-blue books stacked on the right-hand side (above).

That green vase paired with buttoned charcoal velvet and the modern lines and crisp white of a tulip side table is magic to me (above).

I love this pic – deep purple upholstery paired with leopard print, and a peek of kelly green geometric on the side..

Short but sweet on this busy Friday – have a great weekend!! x

I did some serious work re-arranging and organising my mini office yesterday. It’s still a work in progress, and I still have a fabric scrap as a temporary window cover until my new pink blind with grey trim is finished, but let’s just say progress has been made! In the meantime, I’m noticing stylish offices everywhere I look. Now, I’m on a serious hunt for a Kelly Green campaign dresser or chest! x

Grant K Gibson’s dining room

Have you seen the latest San Francisco Showhouse? I am absolutely smitten with the dining room by Grant K. Gibson!

You might remember his hot-pink girls’ room in the last San Francisco house:

This time his room is moody and quite classic, though I love the abstract painting in greys and this amazing sculptural light fitting that inject a modern edge. I just think the light makes the space.

The table is faux-painted and the flowers are fake! Who knew fake could look so good?

The geometric black-and-white floor is a painted pattern over the original boards. You can read more about that process on Grant’s blog, here. I love the French dining chairs covered in Kelly Green leather!

And of course, the gorgeous collection of blue and white..

Love a pop of kelly green!

How gorgeous is this bookcase? For me this whole scene is dream-worthy, from the horizontally-stacked books (I could spend all day here) to the stools, painted floorboards and accessories. And of course, that wonderful shade of green! Have a great day x
