Hello! And welcome to my blog.
I am excited to finally be writing my first post! Starting a blog is something I have been thinking about for a long time as a way of making a record of things around me that I find beautiful, as a way of collating and organising my ENORMOUS collection of ‘inspiration files’ and also as a way of participating (albeit in a small way) in the wonderful of design and decorating bloggers.
Decorating is not only something that I do for fun, to me it’s a way of thinking and an unconscious need to re-arrange, admire and improve my surroundings. A new find at an antique shop will make my week and I am always on the lookout for a new bargain. I can’t walk through my house without thinking what I could change and how I could mix things up or improve them. Sometimes I can’t sleep for thinking about a piece of furniture or shop window or room image that I have seen. It’s not about perfection though, and in my own home nothing is ever ‘perfect’. Things are always getting moved around, sold and replaced (this drives my husband crazy). And my style is always on the move, too. These are the things I want to record in my blog.
In addition to starting this blog I am in the process of turning what I do for fun (and, until now, for free!) into a business, as I open my interior decorating business. I hope to be able to share that journey with you too!
Naomi

Wow! What style! I am loving what you do. It is all so much me and the things I love. I understand exactly where you are coming from. You are a very talented lady and a beautiful person with it, speaking from experience and a distance. Wishing you lots of love and success in your new venture. Lynne.
