I’ve been going through all my stored magazines clippings and there are so many of ‘Hamptons’ style homes featured in Australian magazines collected when I was obsessed with this classic style and everything to do with neutrals, ‘up-market’ beach style, natural textures and fabrics, lots of white…I know it sounds crazy but I think I’m moving back towards this style again in my own home, after previously replacing all my pale, neutral and linen pieces with colour! It’s so hard loving so many styles but only having a small house in which to play
All these pics are from Australian House & Garden, Madison and home beautiful.
Have a great weekend all! x

My favourite of all favourite styles! I missed many of these houses in the magazines, so thanks for this! I love that lounge room in the first house of blues and sands – thanks for sharing this with us. Nancy
Hi Nancy, I agree, this style is hard not to love! Even though I tore these pages out of magazines ages ago, I tend to forget all of the houses in my files, so it’s great to look at them all again! Thanks for your comment, Naomi
love this style, adore it infact…! A great post!

Hi Claudia, me too, I just keep coming back to it, or a version of it..hope you have had a great weekend xo
There’s my girl. Now you are talking. Hard to get away from and never seems to date. Doesn’t do the bank balance any favours, changing styles but does keep our lovely Interior Designers busy. Also helps having very tolerant husbands. Always keen to see what you come up with next on your blogs. Thanks so much. Lynne.
