Decorating for Spring

Posted in fabrics, wallpaper

Even though it’s still freezing in Melbourne I’m starting to think ahead to Spring and bright, fun fabrics in pinks, blues, greens and yellows keep catching my eye. I’d love a big daybed covered in cushions in all these pretty fabrics.

And check out these gorgeous wallpapers too. That purple paisley and the blue floral are my favourites..

And on the topic of Spring-inspired decorating, here’s a room that screams Spring colour..

Have a great day and if you’re in Melbourne, stay warm!

It never ceases to amaze me how designers can pull a room together so perfectly. If all the elements in that room were in a store; I would never think to put them altogether yet somehow, it works. I love the photo. So not posed that at first I thought it was a mirror reflection. It captures those everyday beautiful moments that can be taken for granted. Yes it’s ffffffreezing but I am inspired by the sunshine and these bright fabrics………. bring on Spring!

I agree Nadine, that room is full of unusual combinations but somehow works. That ‘modern’ unposed photo somehow works with the floral wallpaper and all the pink and green!

  2. Hello. Who makes the pink and yellow fabric with lily and unidentified flower? It’s gorgeous.
    Thanks
