Don’t black and white photos look great in white frames against a black wall?
When you don’t have a lot of space but have lots of small pictures, they can look fantastic displayed as a gallery wall. It reads almost as one piece of artwork, and the overall look can be beautiful even if the individual components aren’t stunning on their own.
I really like this sort of casual display (above), where some pictures are hung from a picture rail and others are propped up on a sideboard or bench.
This is one of my favourite art displays (above), because of the unusual way the frames are placed so close together, but mainly because of the colours. The pink, black, white and khaki green perfectly tie in with the fabrics in this breakfast area (and even match the food!). I’m always drawn to neat breakfast nooks.
