I know I’m going against the grain here, but oh do I love winter! There’s something about cold grey days, cosy interiors and warm lighting that really appeals to me (-or maybe it’s just the hot chocolate!). My week started with hot chocolates and Mars Bar cake here:
After which we said hello to these guys:
And walked here: (I looove cold rugged-up walks in the park)
I was also pleaded with to take pictures of every creature we could find for our ‘Nature Album’. Can you see a spider in this picture? Me neither, but trust me, he’s there somewhere!
After all that fun it was back to Melbourne and decorating (more fun) reality. I love being busy and I get so excited seeing little bits of jobs coming together, like when I picked up these curtains with Greek-key trim:
I also bought a pair of these chinoiserie-style lamps for a bedroom project (new shades I think? Yes!);
decided on a fabric (hello chiang mai dragon) so I could drop this lovely old french chair off at the upholsterer’s:
Then I agonised over which of these colours:
to paint this cane coffee table. I’m putting co-ordinating fabric under the glass it will be fabulous!
So that’s me in a nutshell so far…hope you’re enjoying your week too x
