Kitchen Inspiration

Posted in Kitchens

Happy start of a new week! Here are a few of the kitchens from my files. I love them all but they’re all so different – that’s why it’s so fun to help other people in their homes, because I could never have all the things I like at once in my own home! Grey is my favourite colour in a kitchen, and wallpaper looks great, too. Classic kitchens with marble benchtops and lantern lighting are beautiful, but modern kitchens incorporating stainless steel and open shelving appeal too. What’s your favourite kitchen style?

Wow that’s really a nice collection of designs. It will really help me to design my dream kitchen.

Adore the top kitchen makes me want to rip out my current kitchen and start again – sigh. Also coveting those lights in the clover mag kitchen.

I do love all these kitchen you have shown, but particularly Sally Wheat’s kitchen. I love the colours the open shelving and the lights. Yes please. Thanks for sharing Naomi.

I adore the top kitchen! I love my modern kitchen. Though if I had my own way (and the money) it would have had more character. More like a modern French kitchen. However my husband won out on most things as he’s a chef so I let him have a little more sway. We have a HUGE kitchen bench so we could only afford laminate. As much as we wanted marble; I’m happy to say that it actually looks fantastic. :)

Lucky you to have a chef husband! I think a modern french kitchen would be my ideal too. Laminate is great – we put in a white laminate benchtop- against all advice – in a previous home and it was so easy to clean, hardwearing and looked fantastic! :)
